Ces chiffres placent le MRT 4070 dans une catégorie spécialisée. À eux seuls, ils n’indiquent pas à l’acheteur ce que la machine peut lever à 40 m, à la portée maximale ou avec un accessoire donné.
## Spécifications phares publiées
Launch coverage reports a 211 hp engine with a continuously variable transmission, Easy Step cab access and remote-control functions. The model’s 131 ft marketing shorthand corresponds to approximately 40 m of maximum lift height.
For comparison, JLG’s official R13100 page lists a 97 ft maximum lift height, 86 ft maximum forward reach and 13,200 lb rated capacity. JLG separately publishes 5,500 lb capacity at maximum height and 440 lb at maximum reach. That difference between rated capacity and capacity at the edge of the load chart is exactly why buyers should not compare rotating telehandlers on model names or headline tonnage alone.

Manitou’s launch coverage does not provide a public list price that supports a universal USD 380,000 to 480,000 transaction range. It also does not establish a fixed USD 120,000 to 200,000 saving against a factory-direct alternative, a standard utilization rate, or a single delivery lead time for every market.
Ces chiffres dépendent de la configuration propre au pays, du dispositif antipollution, des accessoires, de la garantie, du périmètre d’intervention du concessionnaire, du transport, des droits de douane, de la mise en service et de la date du devis. Ils doivent provenir d’offres fournisseurs écrites et comparables, et non d’une fourchette de marché sans source.
## La liste de contrôle de l’acheteur
Demandez à chaque fournisseur présélectionné l’abaque de charge et la configuration exacts sur lesquels repose son offre. Comparez au minimum :
– capacity at the required lift height and forward reach;
– outrigger footprint, setup limits and ground-bearing requirements;
– attachment recognition and the approved attachment list;
– engine emissions configuration for the destination market;
– remote-control functions and local operator requirements;
– transport dimensions and dismantling needs;
– parts availability, diagnostic access and response-time commitments;
– warranty coverage, commissioning and operator training;
– a delivered price with freight, duty and local charges separated.
For a China-direct proposal, identify the manufacturer and exact model. Require a serialised load chart, applicable conformity documents and a parts list tied to that configuration. A generic “30 to 40 m” specification is not comparable to a named production model.
For a rental fleet, residual value and service coverage belong in the model, but utilization must come from the fleet’s own records. For a contractor or tender buyer, check whether an approved-brand list, dealer response time or third-party certification is a scored requirement before treating a lower equipment price as an equivalent bid.
The MRT 4070’s 40 m reach is a meaningful product development. The procurement decision starts after that headline: at the exact load point, support contract, compliance package and delivered quotation.
